Professional Systems CEO William Burton selected as a Chicago Defender 2011

“Men of Excellence” Honoree.

 

Each year the Chicago Defender selects 50 accomplished African American men from the community to recognize and celebrate their outstanding achievements. The distinguished honorees are narrowed down using a vigorous criteria and set of standards. The committee notified Mr. Burton with the following about being selected in this years list of honorees, “This is our 4^th Annual event and you are now a member of a very special class of men who are recognized for the excellence they demonstrate daily in their professional and personal lives”. Mr. Burton has expressed that he is humbled by this honor and is proud to be recognized by a historic and iconic institution such as the Chicago Defender

 

On Wednesday, January 26th, 2011, Burton along with other fellow honorees will be featured in a special section of the Chicago Defender, profiling the 2011 Chicago Defender Men of Excellence. On Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, there will be a Reception and Recognition Program to honor the 2011 Men of Excellence honorees at the Historic South Shore Cultural Center
