Professional Systems selected by Northstar Lottery Group to provide technology infrastructure for retail lottery terminals and corporate offices.

 

 

In 2010 The Illinois State Lottery solicited bids to manage the state’s lottery system. Northstar Lottery Group, a joint venture consisting of GTECH Corporation and Scientific Games was selected and an agreement was finalized in January of 2011. As part of the contract terms, Northstar is charged with very aggressive performance objectives that will result in increased revenue, profit and technology enhancements for the state’s lottery system. Northstar has moved quickly to begin implementing the necessary programs, processes and technology to insure they not only meet but exceed these goals.

 

In January of 2011 Professional Systems, Inc was selected by Northstar as a strategic vendor to assist with the technology infrastructure needed to support key initiatives. As a result Professional Systems was awarded contracts to provide systems to be implemented at over 8000 lottery retail locations around the state of Illinois as well as systems at select corporate offices. This is an exciting time for the Illinois State Lottery and Northstar is poised to take it to the next level.
